Chris Stewart, designer, firing up for maiden flight This aircraft flew straight 'off the board' on October 31st 2010 at the Phoenix Model Flying Club, North London on a calm slightly rainy day. Now in production. We at Falcon believe we have created one of the most accurate and detailed models of the Tiger Moth. Available in easy to manage construction packs.
First landing a perfect wheeler This model weighs 15lbs and is powered by a Laser 150 - absolutely perfect with very slow flying characteristics, with the correct 'typical Tiger Moth tail high sit in the air'. We will also be producing a version for the OSIL 300 inline 4 cylinder 4 stroke which will weigh in at 18lbs.
Fully working sprung undercarriage The undercarriage is supplied as machined parts, fittings silver soldered, ready for you to assemble. Nuts and bolts etc. included in Pack 4.

De Havilland's first Flying School Tiger Moth The model has been finished using nylon and dope and sprayed with Klasskote satin epoxy paint and of course is totally fuel proof.

Pack 6 Brass Fittings These clever little fittings fold around an 8BA bolt to form the attachment for the control cable to the control horn, bellcranks. Very scale like.  Price:  £19.00

Pack 7 Glass Fibre & Vacuum Moulded Parts This pack consists of 5 piece engine cowling; 4 piece scale fuel tank. Oil tank, fin fairing and wheel hubs, seats and cabane strut covers. Just requires trimming for final assembly.   Price:  £45.00

Pack 8 Flying & Landing Wires This set contains 4 flying wires and 4 landing wires. These flying wires are manufactured in Switzerland for Falcon Models. They are stainless steel, drawn to an eliptical section. Left and right hand threads; complete with clevis pin, lock nuts & cotter pins. Each wire has a different width as per the full size. Pack 9 Full Set of Flying Wires This full set contains 16 wires: 4 flying wires and 4 landing wires; 4 interplane strut wires and 4 cabane strut wires. Undercarriage detail These components will need a certain amount of finishing, filing and opening out of holes for final fitting. Only the tail skid bracket is supplied as the builder can choose to have a piano wire skid or make a fully detailed working scale skid. If you purchase this pack for a Tiger Moth other than the Falcon kit all the details are on the Falcon plan and no instructions are included in this pack.
